Notice RE: Taxes in Unorganized Areas
Effective January 1, 2009, the Province of Ontario has taken over tax collection in unorganized areas across the province. Cheques for tax payments should be made payable to the “City of Thunder Bay” and sent to the following address:

Your tax roll number MUST appear on all cheques.
As of June 11th, 2009 taxpayers can call the Provincial Land Tax office in Thunder Bay regarding their PLT Accounts, payments or any general enquiries pertaining to their 2009 PLT billing and tax certificates:
