Successful Strategic Plan Survey

MARATHON, Ontario – Superior-Greenstone District School Board is thrilled to announce the overwhelming participation of our community in their Multi-Year Strategic Plan Survey. The remarkable response underscores the commitment of their stakeholders to shaping the future of education within our district.

 

Director of Education Nicole Morden Cormier stated that, “the survey, designed to gather insights from staff, students, and families, witnessed an inspiring level of engagement, reflecting a shared dedication to the success and growth of our educational community for grades K-12.  We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took the time to share their perspectives and contribute to this vital initiative.”

 

The Director further highlighted that the “survey results will be meticulously reviewed by our esteemed third-party consultants, Future Design School. Their expertise will play a pivotal role in analyzing the data and extracting valuable insights that will inform the strategic planning process.”

 

As we move forward, the process of community-wide engagement continues to unfold. This collaborative effort, in partnership with Future Design School, aims to comprehensively understand the needs, aspirations, and concerns of our diverse community. The ongoing surveying of staff, students, and families is a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and collaboration. These perspectives contribute to a deeper understanding that will shape the trajectory of our school communities for years to come.

 

Once the community engagements conclude, the data will be analyzed, and the developed strategic plan will be presented to the Board of Trustees for approval.  The School Board is committed to transparency and open communication, and as such, the finalized plan will be communicated to all community stakeholders.

The Director of Education advised that the school board “anticipates that the strategic plan, enriched by the collective wisdom of our community, will not only set ambitious goals but also ensure a dynamic, equitable and inclusive learning environment for years to come.”
