Update - Hold and Secure Lifted
The Marathon OPP have concluded their investigation within the community of Marathon on June 7 at approximately 9:30 p.m. The Marathon High School and the Margaret Twomey Public School will be open as scheduled for Thursday, June 8, 2023.
The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation today during the hold and secure procedures that were implemented as a precaution, due to the external threat not related to the schools.
