School Closure Notice – Weather Impact

In consideration of the current weather impacts across our region, the following schools are closed today, December 18, 2025:

- Manitouwadge Public School (MNPS)

- Manitouwadge High School (MNHS)

- Nakina Public School (NAPS)

- Beardmore Public School (BEPS)

- Geraldton Composite High School (GCHS)

- B.A. Parker Public School (BAPS)

- Marjorie Mills Public School (MMPS)

All school buses are cancelled for the day.

We recognize that these closures and transportation cancellations may impact schedules for families, staff, and community partners. We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we prioritize safety during these weather conditions.

Additional updates will be communicated as soon as possible through school and board communication channels.

Students are encouraged to visit Edsby for classroom communication and updates from their teachers.
